What we do
Leak detection services
We locate the exact source of a leak before anyone starts breaking things open — so any repair is targeted, proportionate, and based on evidence.
Our services
Water Mains & Central Heating Leaks
Detecting hidden leaks in underground water mains, central heating systems, and pipework before they cause further damage.
Internal & External Leak Detection
From leaks hidden in your walls to pipework buried underground, we locate the exact source so repairs can be targeted and precise.
Damp & Wet Patch Investigation
Not sure if it's a leak, rising damp, condensation, or humidity? We identify the true cause, so you're not paying to fix the wrong problem.
Leak Repairs
Where a repair is needed, we only excavate exactly where the problem is, no unnecessary disruption.
Methods We Use
Which method suits your property depends on its construction, the pipework, and what the leak is doing. Most investigations combine several.

Thermal Imaging
Detects temperature differences caused by escaping water, helping locate leaks behind walls, floors, and ceilings without any disruption.
Signature
Heat bloom at the leak

Tracer Gas Detection
A safe, non-toxic gas is introduced into the pipework. We trace where it escapes to pinpoint the exact location of the leak.
Signature
Gas escapes at the source

Moisture Mapping
Measures moisture levels across a surface to map the extent and source of water ingress.
Signature
Moisture peaks near the leak

Pressure Testing
Isolates sections of pipework to identify where pressure is being lost, narrowing down the leak's location.
Signature
Pressure drops under test

Dye Testing
A visible dye is used to trace the path of water, particularly useful for identifying the source of visible leaks or drainage issues.
Signature
Dye traces the water's path

Salt Analysis
A small sample is taken from the affected surface and analysed to distinguish between rain-related leaks and mains water-related leaks.
Signature
Salt tells mains from rain
Not sure which applies to you?
That's normal — most people just know something's wrong. Tell us what you've noticed and we'll tell you what it probably is, and what it would take to find out for certain.
